In the midst of Michael Jackson's terribly sudden death,  Joint Pain Hack   it has come to my attention that reporters are saying a Demerol overdose could have been the cause. I definitely do not know anything about how the King of Pop died (for obvious reasons), but I wanted to touch on the matter since it seems reporters are directly linking his death to prescription painkillers. Demerol is a narcotic drug used to treat moderate to severe pain. Its common side effects include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, anxiety, irritation, and a sense of being "high". Since it can make people feel "high", Demerol has a tendency to be used and abused as a recreational drug. Demerol's rare, but major side effect is its ability to slow your breathing and/or heart rate down to dangerous levels.This major side effect usually happens when someone takes too much Demerol in one dose. What happens in a Demerol overdose is your skin gets cold and clammy, your breathing starts to slow, you reach a state of near-sleep, and a coma can result.
